As stated in Article 4 of the Foundation’s Articles of Association, its objective is to “conserve Nature by means of research into Conservation Biology and disseminating this research and the values necessary to raise people’s awareness of Conservation on an international scale. Likewise, to promote and contribute to activities and projects aimed at conserving nature for the purpose of general interest”.

Certificate of Incorporation

The Terra Natura Foundation, holding CHEF: G53638904, was established in Valencia on 19 December 2001 by the company Terra Natura s.f., and is registered in the Foundations Registry of the Ministry of the Environment under number 030001, as per the Resolution of 21 May 2002. It is a non-profit-making entity, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Law 49/2002 of 23 December 2002 on the tax regime for non-profit organizations and tax incentives for patronage.
