London is interested in Terra Natura Murcia

4/1/2009

The Recovery Program of the Otter (Lutra lutra) in Murcia, conducted between Terra Natura Murcia and the Agriculture and Water, is thus, a new appreciation of European institutions, which have at all times praised the work of specialists in biology, ethology, veterinary, and the magnificent facilities that recreate the natural habitat of this species in the park of nature and animals Terra Natura Murcia.

The work is to collect over three months, the feces of three females, who now inhabit the park and two of them have already managed to reproduce in captivity, in order to determine the hormonal excretion, if the zeal of otters is induced or seasonal, which is now unknown.

The work was conducted during April, May and June, and then send all samples to London where they will be analyzed.
